Patricia Hyman has built a distinguished career over more than 20 years as a youth counselor and housing support coordinator, dedicating her life to working with children.

Her journey began on the soccer field, supporting her own children's involvement in the sport, which evolved into her active participation in recreational soccer.

Through this experience, Patricia discovered that the skills honed on the field significantly contribute to children's holistic well-being.

This realization ignited a passion in her to further nurture their potential, helping them become confident and agents of change within their communities.

Her belief in the transformative power of sports have naturally led her to passionately support KidsActive Canada making her a fierce advocate and ally in their efforts to empower young lives in her community.

Shane Bryan, Sports Activity Manager

Shane began playing soccer at the tender age of 4, cultivating a fervent passion that ignited a lifelong journey.

From humble beginnings in recreational leagues in Mississauga, he ventured into competitive play by age 8, embarking on a remarkable odyssey that spanned Canada, the United States, and even as far as Brazil in South America.

Throughout the pursuit of higher education, Shane remained dedicated to the beautiful game, maintaining an active presence in recreational leagues.

Today he continues to immerse himself in the sport, seizing every opportunity to engage and excel on the pitch.

Chriselle Benjamin, Community Liaison

Chriselle Benjamin is a proud Grenadian known for her warm, approachable style and her talent for bringing people together. Always ready to take on new challenges, she excels as a social innovator, growth advocate, and seasoned communicator driven by a deep passion for making a difference.

Chriselle's multidisciplinary career spans marketing communications, health promotion, corporate social responsibility, climate and development financing, and sustainability. She holds master’s degrees in Climate Change and International Business, along with a first degree in broadcast journalism, blending academic rigor with hands-on experience to drive impactful change.

Committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals and communities, Chriselle leverages her expertise to support meaningful projects and foster inclusive collaborations. Whether developing new products, executing dynamic campaigns, or providing strategic guidance, she is dedicated to leaving a lasting positive impact on the world.
